It will not only inform you about the conflicting opinions on the show, but the reviews will also apprise you of the entire timeline of the show and every little intricate detail you might have missed.

The conclusion of “Lucifer” season 5 part 1 has led us to fix our focus on part 2, the shooting of which has also been wrapped up and is due to arrive in 2021.

If the recent reports from a reliable source are believed, season 6 of Lucifer was never in the plans. The story of the devil residing in Los Angeles was all set to end after season 5 part 2, and no renewal was in plans after the one which happened after the conclusion of season 4. The Netflix order for season 5 was destined to be the last one, and that led many fans to start writing some petitions, which fans of any show always do after the finale.

However, fans of Lucifer are not ordinary, and they did the impossible. We can also add that “Lucifer” is the brand leader, and any new season would surely guarantee record numbers for Netflix. The passion of fans and shows’ crowd-pulling capacity compelled the streaming giant to consider renewing the franchise for one more season.

Rumors started circulating in the first half of season 6 that Netflix is now on the verge of renewing the series for one more season with having everyone on-board. Netflix finished the deal with Warner Bros. way back in February, but the studio still had Tom Ellis’ contract negotiation to take care of. However, that was also done and sealed in May.

Netflix announced the order for season 6 on June the 23rd, 2020, and said it would be the “final FINAL” season.

You must be wondering whether the announcement for Season 6 changed the creators’ plan for season 5. No, it did not. A producer on the show, Joe Henderson, addressed the issue and said that though they were all game for another season, the one thing they never wanted to do was to “undo” the work they have already done. Nobody knows what will happen in season 6, but the story we will see in season 5 hasn’t been tinkered with.

Tom Ellis is super energetic about his return as the lead character Lucifer Morningstar. Alongside him, Lauren German, Rachael Harris, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Aimee Garcia, and others will all return to relay the ending of a great show.

However, you have to keep in mind that you will not see season 6 before 2022, but that does not mean you cannot get hyped for season 5, part 2, which was supposed to be the finale of Lucifer’s story.
